Η φωτιά και οι εκκενώσεις στην περιοχή του Μαλιμπού
Η πυρκαγιά που μαίνεται κοντά στο Μαλιμπού, στην Καλιφόρνια, προκαλεί ανησυχία λόγω της ταχύτητας με την οποία εξαπλώνεται, απειλώντας σπίτια και αναγκάζοντας τις αρχές να προχωρήσουν σε εκκενώσεις.
Η “φωτιά Φράνκλιν” (Franklin fire) εκδηλώθηκε το βράδυ της 9ης Δεκεμβρίου και σύντομα επεκτάθηκε σε μια περιοχή 7.300 στρεμμάτων, σύμφωνα με την υπηρεσία Cal Fire. Η φωτιά εντοπίζεται κοντά στο Μαλιμπού, μια πόλη γνωστή για την κατοικία πολλών διασημοτήτων. Εξαιτίας της επικίνδυνης κατάστασης, οι αρχές προχώρησαν σε εντολές εκκένωσης, με βοηθούς σερίφη να επισκέπτονται σπίτια και να ζητούν από τους κατοίκους να απομακρυνθούν από τις περιοχές που πλήττονται από τη φωτιά. Οι φλόγες πλησίασαν επικίνδυνα τα σπίτια στην παράκτια αυτή περιοχή, προκαλώντας έντονη ανησυχία.
